Computer is harmful for the kids?  

well i would say that with internet kids do have direct access to stuff which they should not be seeing like violent videos or pornographic material but adults can control what their kids are watching by puting up adult control on which blocks these sites.

There's a danger with anybody using the internet, not just the kids. But you have to be smart and one step ahead of the game. If your kids are on the computer, monitor where they go and what they do. There are programs out there that have a parental lock where kids can't go to certain sites. I don't remember off the top of my head what it's called now. But you might want to look into that. Just be aware of what your children do. Keep a close eye on them. If something doesn't look right or sound right, get them away from it.

Not if you teach them how they should use the computer. I was given my first computer at the age of 12. And at that time I learned very quickly on my own how to surf the web. I remember not being aware of the garbage that is out there. And I got a rude awakening when freaks would try to talk to me. But I was one of those kids that learned how to send them e-mail bombs and stuff to get them to leave me alone, lol.
