Chomping for an hour on a few pieces of sugarless gum raises the matabolic rate 19% and burns 46 kilojoules. It could knock off four kilos a year, not much. That was what the researcher said. | | maybe it would give you a nice slim jawline but I think chewing gum makes you hungry and i did read that chewing actually tricks your stomach, as when you chew the saliva makes your stomach in acceptance mode to recieve food so when it doesn't get any food you then get hungry so i would think it would do the reverse to losing weight, and i know i always feel hungry when I chew gum.. | | | | | | |
