First Impression is the Last Impression............

I don't agree with you. May be its true in most of the cases. But not in all. When you first see me you will just say that I am very quiet an will appreciate me. But after some days you will say that I am the first talkative in the world. Hehe. Lol. One of my friend's name is preeti. Actually I didn't like her first. She is very straight forward. The way she speaks will hurt at times. So I didn't like her. After some days we became friends through one of my other friend. I was just talking to her. Thats all. Then my friend and preeti had some problem and it turned to be a big fight. At that time I thought the same. "First impression is best impression". I just thought that I was right. Later days I just found how caring and true she is. Not like others. Very happy to have such a friend.

I kind of agree with you, but at the same time I don't... I have friends that I'm quite close to that at first I did not like. My initial impression of them was that they were either not very nice, or intimidating in some way. It takes time but you can teach yourself to disregard your first impression after time, if that's what you want to do. Some first impressions do stick though and you will never shake off. They sit there in the back of your head and no matter how hard you try you cannot shift them. Sometimes something happens down the line to show your impression was right, but other times it does not.
