| | I don't actually have a favorite brand, but I do know of one that makes me laugh a lot... it is called 'Running with Scissors', hehehe. I tried their Merlot and it was not bad, but I just love the name! I also enjoy Australian wines. I like Italian wines too, I am not a big fan of French wine though. And currently Cabernet Sauvignon is my favorite of the reds. | | | | | | |

| | Considering I don't drink alcohol, I'm not exactly the best person to give advice on wines. However, before I completely quit alcohol, the best red wine I had is a variety of home-made Romanian wine, from intermixed type of grapes (by that I mean the plants are of uncertain origin, not of a clear type, being the result of erratic interbreeding). This type of wine is called "zaibar" by the people of my native area of the country. Once I got to taste a French red wine, from the Bordeaux area, and it was inferior to the home-made "zaibar". | | | | | | |

| | More for the brand I choose wines for the variety of grapes it has been made with. After that I choose one or another brand preferebly among the ones I know made in my own or the sorrounding regions. Living in Spain that means a big choice. Anyway among my favourite ones are young red garnacha wines. White or rose with a touch of natural gas a great too, or a good mature wine made with grapes from old vines for meat, or a muscat for dessert. In other words, there is one for each occasion. | | | | | | |

| | In Malaysia I don't know. The most distant places where so far I found it are Cuba, Colombia and Russia, and that looking for wines from my own region. Try. You might find some :) | | | |

| | I have no idea about new world wines. I tasted only a couple of times Australian wine, and may be once more Chilean or South African. I tend to buy always my local wines. In fact foreign ones are pretty difficult to find where local production is so massive. | | | | | | |

| | Oh man! I would do anything for a nice bottle of Australian wine! It has been a long time since I have been home and this is one of the main things I miss! Wolf Blass is definitely a nice wine. Penfolds is another well known wine with its ultimate red being "Penfolds Grange Hermitage". This wine is fantastic but very expensive! New Zealand wines are also very crisp (whites) and clean and one winery in particular I like from there is "Oyster Bay". Wines from Napper Valley in California can also be very good. Personally I prefer Cabernets for red wine and a dry Chardonnay for whites. I also love a good Riesling and Penfolds are also good with this type as well! My mouth is watering discussing all of this! lol. | | | | | | |
