are you amenable for a pre - nuptial agreement prior to marriage?

I don't think this still works in our present society now a days. I think it only happens is one of the family is really well off as compared to the other. But i think it is best if both couples work for their own rather than being dependent on the family's wealth. I know a friend whom the family of her fiance` wants them to have a pre-nup since the guy is the eldest in the family and handles most of the affair of the family and it's business. Would it be okay with you? in the first place your not marrying the person because of his/her wealth and it is out of love. Share your thoughts.

Before my marriage in the 1990s I got a a pre-nuptial agreement between me and my husband. I had a house and he had a half share in a business. I wanted to be sure that what was mine would stay mine and what was his would stay his. Our marriage lasted six years, then we got divorced.

sorry to hear about the divorce. :( good that you had a pre-nuptial or else the house will be part of the conjugal property between you and your ex-hubby. thanks for the post!!!

where actually here in Philippines there's a lot of arrange marriage still. Most of them came from a family of reach people. And also with a Chinese blood. But i do agree with you that its much better to a person to have his own decision to whom his gonna married especially if he loves the person ^ ^
