I am expecting a friend from Canada to come on Saturday and stay until Wednesday. We don't really have any plans other than hanging out, and on Monday and Tuesday we're going to the Fair which starts today. I am looking forward to having the company.
When was the last time someone came to stay with you? Who was it? What did you do?

We never have anyone to stay over, the only people that come to stay are my eldests friend! Family all live pretty close by so there is no need for them to stay over, plus they could not cope with the kids LOL.
Mind you, we have no room for guests anyway there is only just enough room for us in our house. Its nice for you to have a friend coming to stay though, I hope that you have a really good time when your friend comes.

We don't really have the room either, but she is fine with sleeping on the sofa.

Well aside from my friend and her boyfriend crashing here one night after we all went out, the last company we had stay with us was at thanksgiving. My cousins came up and stayed with us for a few days over thanksgiving. they used to stay with my parents, but since our house is bigger they stayed with us this time. We went bowling one night and we all went to my grandmothers on thanksgiving for dinner.

The last time was in July. It was after my daughters birthday. One of my mothers friends came to stay and look at real estate. My brother has a business trip up here at the end of the week, He will be here for a few days now too.

We pretty much always have someone staying with us as we accept working holiday makers. I have a guy here just now through one of them, doing some work for us in exchange for bed and board.
We've had some friends and family staying over the last 6 weeks or so too though. There were 9 of us at one stage! all apart from our working holidaymaker left the day before yesterday and we now have a week before we have another couple join us. I spent all yesterday washing bed linen!
With our working holidaymakers we just get on with our ordinary work and they help us out and join us if we're out in the evening or whatever. With our most recent guests we did lots more outings though. We went either swimming or canoeing every day, ate out allot and made the most of the festa season. We went to lots of small village festa and a couple of really big ones.
It's great having people to stay, and the place suddenly feels awfully quiet. We're lucky living in such a lovely spot that people want to come and visit us here.

I have company now. My granddaughter came over night before last to spend a couple days. She is going home this afternoon. She has to work Friday. She lives over an hour from us. She hasn't been here in awhile and we've enjoyed her stay. She and I spent the day in town, shopping yesterday. Today, we are just resting because we are tired.
