I was waiting in a queue earlier and this woman come rushing over and went straight to the counter, didn't even look whom else was in the queue.. she didn't take too long, and maybe she was in a rush, so it seemed... but even still, don't you think its rude to do that? If was in a hurry she could have at least asked if ok to go ahead or apologize.. I just let it go, i didn't say anything, was in shock how rude she was..
Really the women behind the counter should have said something to her, but seemed in as much shock as me..
Have you had this happen to you, where someone just walks straight in front of you, ignoring the fact there is others waiting to be served? That was not the first time its happened to me

I honestly don't care if you're in a hurry or not - say exuse me please. I have often bene in a hurry and I would politely go to the front of the line and briefly explain my situation and asked if the person would mind fi I get served quickly due to that situation - most don't object once you ask.

that is very true.. id never object if i was asked nicely, as its happened before and i appreciate that.. i just hate bad manners and rudeness..If i not sure if someone is in the queue i will actually ask them before i go ahead..it is the right thing to do
thanks for sharing your view and take care

I understand if its an emergency, but like you, i get really annoyed if people jump the line.
Like my friend said, "Why do they think we're standing here in a line for? Because circles are out of fashion?"
Anyway, i try to stick to the rules so that people dont get annoyed by me.

mandykaren hi. Yes! I had the same problem. I was waiting for some time when a new clerk came and opened a new register. She asked for the next person in line.
A woman behind me, who had been waiting less than a minute, rushed over. I was so upset, I did tell her that I was the next person in line and it was rude to ignore me.
She looked at me and said, "Everyone does it." I was so shocked I told her,
"That doesn't mean it's okay to do that."
I agree, it was the clerk who should have said something.

It is rude, and i hate that when people think.. well others do it so i will, that is a bad attitude and really annoys me when people say that.. seems like many are sheep and follow what others do..
