ice cream roll

Ohhhh yummy, yes i have had it, and i loooovvvveee it. I have had it with neopolitan ice cream (van, strawberry, and chocolate)...man now i want some..lol.

Hey hey That does sound very yummy !! You know what I have not had one in a very long time . I love cake and icecream together , so its the best of both worlds.

Is this a treat you can buy commercially, or do you make it yourself? It sounds really good. Nice for summer. I have looked at different rolled sponge recipes, but have not had the confidence to try to do it. I used to make a chiffon cake in a tube pan, then fill the center with softened icecream, and put a layer on top, then pour a glaze down it. It was a similar effect. I will have to try it sometime.

I don't believe I've ever had that delicacy. It surely sounds wonderul though! I remember my mom used to make strawberry shortcake with strawberries my grandma grew (more than a decade ago). It was so good, but I haven't had that in ages. I'm thinking you just tempted me to try something else!

This takes me back to when I was a little girl lol. Do you call it Artic roll? I used to have it at my Nanna's house and sometimes home as well. I used to pull the sponge away from the ice cream to get the jam.

Mmm!!! very delicious!! i like to eat icecream thats my favorite specially fruitcocktail flavored!!!
