 half-Drunk? Start talking bullcrap; you need their support; they believe they are making sense, but they are Just So NOT.
You want to hang up, but "they" are a friend.. how do you courteously remove yourself from the conversation, without hurting someones feelings?
I have done this too many times, I feel badly, roll my eyes and just want to hang up! But I do not, find myself on a 2 hour useless convo, I get tired:(

Screw that, I can't stand talking to drunk people. Mine time is too valuable to waste.

My "friend" is a co-worker, I cannot turn off my cell phone as a stipulation in the Company handbook says "any (company name) provided cell phones, are the property of (company) and any company paid cell phone provided to any employee; the employee is expected, and it is mandatory; to be accessible 24/7. If these company rules are not obided by, said employee can and will be subject to administrative action, up to and possibly including termination".. how do I get around that? | |

I would like to talk to you when you are sober because I am sober now and the conversation will be even better for both of us. We will both be sober then.
