Lie to me!!

Ok so you know how everyone says they would rather hear the truth that have them lie?
Well I honestly thing it's not true when your girlfriend asks you if it looks like she gained any weight..the answers always "NO! you look wonderful!"..Ok so she does look good but she may have weighed a little bit of weight but you cant say that!its like shes telling you LIE TO ME!! lol
When your mom asks you if she looks old you say NO!!you look wonderful!!lol
any one agree with me?I would like to hear womens opinion on this too..
I once was told that hearing something negative from a man is worse than hearing it from a woman?is this true?
What are your opinions?!

It is true while we may command honesty we still like to be lied to sometimes. We are not asking if we have gained weight and hoping that you will say yes. We are neededing some ego stroking and if we have gained weight, that assurance comes with a lie.
My opinion is that honesty can hurt no matter what gender we hear it from. For me, it is not worse to hear the truth from man or woman, it is the content of what is being said that rattles me, particularly if it is a truth that I am not seeking or ready to digest.
We all have to figure out what we are really asking for before we get the honest answer. :)

I don't think she is asking you to lie to her or tell her the truth. She is trying to feel better about herself and she is asking for your help to do so. Make her feel sexy and wonderful and loved. Make her feel that she is the only woman in the world. That's what she really wants. She knows that the question she is asking is unfair. She has already made up her own mind how she looks. She needs you to make her feel good. I say head the question off at the pass and ALWAYS make her feel sexy. It's worked pretty good for me so far.
