|  My daughter wanted to see the new Star Wars 'CLONE Wars' animated feature. We hadn't been to a movie in a while. And we were looking forward to it. It was bad. My daughter was disappointed, her uncle and myself. My hubby always the optimist said it could have been better. Ever been to a movie and thought it totally stunk? Have you seen this one? If not save your money.

| |  I thought Wall-E was horrible...I kept waiting for something to happen, and wished we hadn't gone, my daughter was so bored and it was pretty much what I thought it would be, another propaganda movie aimed at kids....

| | I am sorry but I have to disagree with that. Wall-E was an amazing movie. Probably the best animated in a long time. It was a true work of art in all aspects. It was a mixture of drama, romance, comedy, and that very important and timely message on the environment. These aspects they weaved in in Wall-E so seamlessly it was a true movie experience. It was bittersweet in a new sense. I wanted to cry but there was nothing specific to cry about. I was laughing but the comedy wasn't shallow. It evoked so much emotion. That added to the fact that sound design was excellent as well. The Academy agrees with me when they awarded Wall-E for Best Animated Feature. Watch it again, maybe you'll see some good points, but that's just what I have to say. | | | |

I've been a big fan of the Star Wars series (well most of it, I love the Episodes 2-6, but not the Phantom Menace, and I love the books!)... but when I first saw previews for this I was really worried. And all the reviews say that if you aren't a young kid you won't like it. Even hard core fans will probably hate it. And I guess this is true. A sad day indeed! | | | | | | |

| | Yeah... it was pretty weak. But hey, it's supposed to be a stretched first episode of The Clone Wars series. Imagine it as a children's tv show that they showed in the cinemas. It'll make more sense that way.
However, in spite of that, I still tuned in the tv series, and to say honestly, it isn't so bad. Until now people who have watched it still don't like it because they quit on it on the first few episodes (which were frankly kinda boring). But when you get through the boring firsts, and the PG sign comes up, it gets really good. Hope this becomes a learning experience for you as it did for me. | | | | | | |
