What type of shoes makes you feel comfortable?

I love flats and loafers and I am loving Croc shoes too. I love to wear sexy high heels or stilettos when I feel sexy, to match my dress or just the boost of confidence. But they are mostly not comfy. So i still prefer to walk in loafers, flats during weekends while shopping

As I see it, shoes can either be comfortable in the actual sense of being comfortable to wear - well-constructed, a good fit, etc., or they can make you feel comfortable in a given context, with an appropriate outfit. I'm well past my prime now, but being only just over 5 feet tall I always wore high heels when I was a young woman. As age has caught up with me, and I suffer a little with arthritis in my big toes and (I can hardly bear to admit this) I have a small bunion on my right foot, I simply can't wear heels any more and I HATE IT! Not being able to teeter around in gorgeous footwear impacts on my self-esteem and has eroded my sense of myself as a sexual being. It also means your taste in outfits is limited as some clothes just cry out for stilletos!

Those brands are way expensive! I go for flat slippers type, havainas are good when you are off to long walks. I don't like rubber shoes because it makes my feet sweaty.
