I need a good recipe for Chili

Okay so Wednesday is my hubbys Birthday. I promised him i would make something that i have never made before..as cooking is not something i am particularly talented at or enjoy. I have never made Chili, i know, sounds crazy. Soooo whaat i need is a good recipe for Chili, not spicy, with beans, and with beef. Everything else jsut tell me what to do..lol
The recipe i choose to try will get best response.

I dont have any reciepies offhand but there are plenty of recipies on the web. I like to just make chili with whatever I ahve on hand. It's easy to put together.

I seen a few on the web that sounded yummy, but figured id see if anyone on here had something maybe a little diff then the norm..with all the members from all over the world on here..there has to be someone with a good one. lol

My husband loves chili, I made it once for him, this is how I did it.
I used ground beef, onions, a little garlic, green pepper, cook that all together.
When the meat is browned and the veggies are tender, I added a can of tomato sauce and chili powder, I let that go for a little while, then I added the kidney beans, let it simmer until it thickens up some.
