I almost pee's myself laughing watching Two and a Half Men |
|
I have only been watching Two and a half Men for a few months now, and havn't seen anything this funny in years. Why didn't anyone tell me about this show sooner?!?
My Step-Son and I where watching an episode last week and i nearly fell out of my chair pissing myself laughing.
It was the one where they send Jake to visit his Grandmother and they go off to the bar. When they relize the mistake they made they get ready to leave when a ladies beach volly ball team walks in. Then they go into a "who's on first" routine.
Jake is just being Jake at his grandmothers, and she's trying to get him to eat soushi (not my first choice) and then suggests Squab and that's when i lost it. Jake starts going into his squab, squab bit... I'm sitting on the sofa laughing, crying and almost can't breathe. I start to get my composure back, and then he jumps out from behind the sofa yelling aquab after his grandmother gets him spaghetti, off i go again and I'm having serious trouble breathing.
My hubby missed this as he would rather go fishing. I'm trying to tell him when he got back, I'm just crying/laughing. His son had to tell him. It did repeat later that night and he agreed it was one of the best episode on any tv show in the longest time.

1. James72 (6971) | 1 year ago | I have to say that I too enjoy this show a lot! But the sad thing is that I am in Egyopt and the show is very rarely on. Maybe once a week at best and they tend to repeat a group of the same episodes over and over again. I think the show is very, very funny and they have created a great combination of main and secondary characters.
One of my favourite episodes is the one where Alan's ex-wife Judith joins a self help group and all the women are pushing her to be more assertive with Alan. One of their issues is a comment Jake makes about wanting to be a bachelor like his Uncle Charlie.....Of course Alan can't handle this and gest hammerd by this group of women. So Charlie goes in and puts his moves on; and next thing you know all these man-hating women are out on his back patio drinking champagne and bonding with him. It is one of those comedy shows that is very well written and I enjoy clever humour like this.

3. LisaHW (1511) | 1 year ago | I've been watching it faithfully since it first showed up. I actually think it was funnier in previous years, but it is still funny. I love Jake and that mother. Everyone in the show is funny, but Jake and that mother (with her nicey-nice way of saying horrible things) just crack me up.
(New Adventures of Old Christine makes me laugh too - if you haven't seen that, you may find it funny too.)

LisaHW (1511) | 1 year ago | She's a completely different character in Christine, but, to me, it's the ex-husband, her friend (Barb), and her brother that make that show really funny. She's funny, but it's one of those shows where the whole ensemble is what makes it funny.

4. kel1483 (525) | 1 year ago | Two & A Half Men is pretty funny. I started watching it maybe a year or so ago. They air reruns twice a day on Fox, and I saw one and thought it was funny. My whole family likes it. It's always funny. There is one where Jake is in class reading a paper he wrote about what he did over the weekend. It's funny at one point where he tells a joke he heard and no one laughs and he goes "I didn't get it either". I like when Jake uses words or phrases, that are very adult, but doesn't know what they mean. haha. I also like the corny jokes, like the where does a one legged woman work? IHop.

| 7. Wilbet28 (46) | 6 months ago | I agree that this is one of the funniest shows on TV. The episode you mentioned was so funny I almost fell of the couch laughing. I hadn't watched the show until about 1 year ago when they started showing reruns on one of our local channels at 7:00 P. M., and now I'm addicted to it.
