DNC Hillary Clinton Paves Road To 2012 Presidency? | | | | Hillary Clinton gave a glowing speech tonight at the DNC,she clearly pointed out her thirty five years of experience in government noting all the issues she has fought for all these years and fought to the bitter end. I think if she been giving the democrat nomination she would of had a wonderful shot at being the first women president of the United States of America. I'm not a Hillary Clinton supporter but in my heart I can't help but believe she actually did earn the democrat nomination and with thirty five years experience's and I trust she is ready to lead this nation beginning on day one. Tonight she did what she had to do as she can't afford to be the spoiler of her party that would be very bad for her in the presidential 2012 race. Do you think Hillary Clinton is at work paving the way to becoming the president of the United States in 2012? | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Hillary Clinton for President in 2012. That is definitely a possibility. I am not a fan of hers either, yet, I believe that she will become the first president. First and foremost, however, she is going to have to make sure that her husband, former President Bill Clinton stays out of the way. There was talk of making him the Ambassador to the useless United Nations. If he was named to that position, terrorists would reign supreme as they probably will should Barack Obama be elected president this time around. I do not believe that Hillary Clinton did anything to show why Barack Obama should be president, let alone why a Democrat should be president. It appears that the platform is this: change only that it be somewhat different than the last eight years. You know, my troubles in the employment world is not President Bush's fault. The troubles that I have are my own. He did not cause me to lose my job, let alone did I, yet it happened. President Bush did not put his fingers on the levees in Louisiana and say, break and flood this land. President Bush did not fly those planes into the World Trade Centers in New York, or into the Pentagon or into the ground in Pennsylvania. What he did do though is run a faith based presidency where he believed that his actions were the right ones based on information that he thought was correct. I believe that no matter what happens, Hillary Clinton in the long run will be president and that her speech tonight will propel her into that position in 2012. How do you think we got to know Barack Obama? He made what was termed an incredible speech at the 2004 DNC which was the only thing that he has done to propel him into the nomination for president. Good job Senator Clinton, but not great. I cannot for a moment believe that after tonight's speech that she has any intention of fully unifying the Democratic Party. As one of the most non-prejudiced people in the world, this is not the time for an African-American president. Especially one who is not capable of being the Commander-in-Chief. I am so worried that we as a great country could get sold out very quickly. | | | | | | | davebrown64 (368)

| | I think she paved the road toward party unity. Democrats don't "give" the nomination to anyone, they have to win the votes to get it and while Republicans tend to nominate the next rich old white guy in line the Democrats don't do it that way. In 2006 Hillary will still be younger than McCain is now so perhaps that will be her time. Annie | | | | | | | angusthethird (451)

| | What was missing from the Hillary speech of last night? An apology. Everything else was perfect. I think she owed Barack a heartfelt apology. Would have gone a long way towards unifying this still-broken party. She was wrong, and should have been willing to admit it. She put up a good front, but she could have acknowledged that she said some things during the heat of battle that she did not mean. Will voters take the Dems seriously on Nov. 4? My guess is that I would not be too surprised if they didn't. I think we will see alot of McCain Democrats, or Dems who will not vote at all, because, like the black lady delegate who started crying last night during the interview--they will feel that Mr. Obama may not be as ready to lead as they might have liked, but they do not want McCain, as I do not. There will be those who feel if Mr.Obama cannot successfully unify his party, how can he unify the country post-Jan. 20? Like, if my wife can't trust me to remember a simple item on a grocery list, how can she trust me to remember to feed our kids on time once we have them? | | | | | | | Play .dnc Files (Popular) Can't Play .dnc Files? | | I don't think the issue of the nominee will be settled until roll call vote is taken to choose the current candidate. It's highly unlikely Hillary would win it, but it could happen. If Obama is chosen, I think definitely Hillary is planning to run in 2012, and she has so many supporters already, it is going to be a difficult task to unite the democratic party this election, but she should be a step ahead of everyone in the next. | | | | | | | kennyrose (5047)

| | clrumfelt, This is what I'm getting from Fox news,Hillary Clinton's speech was very good but it missed some things that would had taken it over the top,Hillary did not say things like Barack Obaba is ready to lead, has experience to lead, stuff like that,it seems to be Hillary Clinton did not give Obama her endorsement. Fox news had one million more viewers and 700,000 more viewers then CNN in the DNC polls, that's why I depend on Fox because I get both sides of the issues, the other stations are talking like Clinton's and Obama are best of buddies, but this is not what is being said on Fox,there still is this roll call,so I'm watching closely. I don't understand this roll call stuff and don't even know what it means, but that is coming up I think today. Had the democrat put Hillary Clinton in the presidential candidate slot none of this would be happening because no one could begin to question is she ready to lead on day one. Seems for what ever reason they put in some one that most voters are questioning his ability to lead, and can he really unite his own party, seems people are saying the democrats party is not united as some democrats are playing up and Bill Clinton speaks tonight and he can talk about any thing he whats,so this is going to be interesting, bet he won't be talking about Jennifer and Monica ..lol? The polls right now are coming in they are saying the American people are saying they trust John McCain over Barack Obama in ability to lead our country in th face of terrorisms. Russian is really acting up very close to threating the U.S. because of issues in Poland,so all of this makes the American people nervous and they have very good reason. Thanks for your respond, have a good day. | | | | | | | Are You Prepared for 2012 Survival Kits, Food, Masks & more. Free 46 page Disaster Guidebook. www.2012Store.net | add comment | | | |

| | Oh she's obviously covering the bases in case she can try again in four years. She did the right thing if she really wants to run again. She has to promote party unity. | | | | | | | | | | Get Involved America Election America t-shirts, pins, mugs, stickers plus - great prices. www.BalanceAmerica.com | add comment | | | |

| | She paves her road to 2012 alright. What ever happen in November election, Hillary Clinton will emerge as a strong voice within the Democrat party. By promoting unity within the party sho promote herself, that is what I call brilliant. | | | | | | | | | | Holidays Calendar Your new holiday resource has arrived on the web! www.holidayscalendar.com | add comment | | | |

| | Well she is playing nice so she can give another try in 4 or 8 years. She also has to play nice because she will have to run for re-election as a senator too. The last thing she wants right is to loose the DNCs support on that. So I would say she is leaving all her options open. NOthing wrong with that. But personally, I hope not. But knowing her, she will try again. | | | | | | | | | | Money Market Rates Get The Best Money Market Rates With Exclusive Online Offers. firstcountybank.com | add comment | | | |
