Is Lulu Hallucinating Laura?  |

|  It wouldn't be a stretch; she is already hallucinating Logan. It's too shady to me, that only Lulu knows about Laura's awakening. And that stupid silly smile she had on face when carly visited her has me convinced she's hallucinating.
First, Nikolas is in charge of Laura's health care. Laura is incompetent, she cannot make decisions on her own behalf. There is NO way any doctor in Shadybrook would allow her to make such a momentous decision without contacting Nikolas.
Second, the reasoning is flawed, not wanting to put them through that again. Laura is all about her family, even if it's for a day. She'd always see them, never deny them. She'd know it would hurt them much more if she had awakened and chose not to see them than having to face the possibility of her drifting off again. I mean, they all handled it pretty well last time and we happy to have what time they did together.
If Laura is a hallucination, I think it's a better story than having her come out of her catatonia again. I've already expressed why it doesn't work for me in other posts, since it's generally the same few of us in the GH duscussions,I don't think I need to rehash it.
If Laura is a hallucination, it would be a bit of brilliance on the writer's part. Coming up with a believable storyline, imagine that! 
I'm happy to have Laura back, even if it's temporary. She looked good too! She lost some weight and I think she looks great!

| |  Well I wasnt watching when she recovered last time but sure sounds like you could be right. It would make more sense that its all in Lulus head she is a nut case lol. If that is the case that is a very good twist by the writiers i must say. Now if she says something to anyone she will be locked away for good.

| |  if lulu is hallucinating laura it wouldnt shock me you know they come up with odd stuff on those shows. i am glad laura is back i just wonder how long she is going to stay this time...

| |  lastwolf - you got that right! I never did like Luke and Laura. They were just a couple of empty headed, nimble-nutty loose cannons running around. But the storylines were interesting. But Robert - Robert was the best! I sure miss him! They brought him back 2 years ago with that stupid antidote thing and made a mockery of him! Now he is "dying" on NightShift - of if not dying, at least having massive health problems. I don't watch Night Shift, jsut see the commercials.

| | I am looking for other things to do during GH time slot! This Laura annoyance is nothing but annoying!!! I mean her miraculous recover few years ago.. at least there was a wonder drug that brought her back. This time...okay, well Lulu's constant whining and screaming and crying and complaining - guess that would wake the dead but still....
And Laura's first words were "Mommy's here". Where the heck has mommy been all these years for her children? I just think they wrote the character out so stupidly and they need to either kill the character for good or bring her back intelligently and then make her ride off into the sunset some how since the actress has no alliances to the show.
IN this case I can see the only intelligent and non-viewer beratement way to carry this storyline is to make Laura a figment of Lulu's imagination or a dream while she is there. But then again, figment of her imagination, Logan, is what put her there! No, it won't surprise me at all if Laura is real and they subject us to 608 weeks of this boring, self righteous character!! I don't care for Laura, can you tell!?!?!? | | | | | | |

| | Originally I didn't like Laura. I thought she was stuck up, a holier than thou kind of person and a tease (to Luke). But I got caught up in the Luke and Laura phenomenon. But when they both left all those years ago, they really should have just left those characters as legends. It's pathetic to see what has become of Luke. And let's face it, Laura wasn't really right for Luke, not in the long term. The House-frau and The Rogue. I think the idea of their great love was more than what was reality.

Yes, they should have just written those character off in the sunset and left the legendary characters alone to basque in their glory. Since their return and DIVORCE - I mean, the great Luck and Laura divorced - that just trashed the whole epic! And neither character since thier returns has done anything but stupidity since they've been back. Laura plays on Scottys love to get Deception and the walked away from it, and Luke, well, words escape me as to the pathetic character they have turned him into. It's almost like they are different characters, just the same name. | | | |

| |  Its always a pleasure to have Laura back on the show.
I was watching SoapNet tonight and this exact thought came to mind that Laura is all in LuLu's fragile mind right now. ITs her greatest desire to have her mom back again. The writers have proven to us in the past that they are brilliant beyond words. So I guess I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that Laura is all in the shattered mind of her daughter.
