Which part of the US is the best place to live and why?

tennessee!!!! lived here all my life , have no desire to live anywhere else. i live in a small towm which i love. don't like the hustle & bustle of traffic & having to go miles to a grocery or any other store. i love my neighbor hood, have great neighbors, kine knowing people u meet on the street altho that has changed alot. my wants are very small & i can get everthing i presonally need which is very little right here. my children are here & that makes everything perfect.

I like it here in the mountains of western North Carolina. Few people, low crime, nice weather.
