When is it to much makeup

If I do wear makeup I only put on powder some mascara and blush and a little lip gloss. Yeah, I believe that makeup should just be natural looking. I don't understand why people put on layers of makeup and they think that they look good when actuality they look like they didn't have a mirror while they were putting on makeup. There is a saying. "less is better," I think people should follow that.

Below 25 years old you don't need any make up. After that, during the day you should wear the bare minimum, especially if you work in florecent lighting. In the evening, if you are like, under 50, you could use some shadow, liner, lip tint and some concealer if you need it. Over 50 you might want to add foundation and powder, but that is up to you.

Blush is just never a good idea. Clowns have red cheeks. Want to look like a clown? I didn't think so.

Too often you see teenage girls wearing blush(rouge)over a cheek covered in pimples. Has no one ever told them that painting something red draws attention to it? Why not just get a t-shirt that reads "Hey! Look! I have acne!"

My own skin is discolored from a pigmentation disorder. I look like someone spashed bleach on my face. But I wear no make up and I'm 44. Why? Because this is my face. God and I are cool with it. Everyone else will make the necessary adjustment.

I know what you mean... I really do not like a whole lot of make up. A little foundation, lipstick and blush is all I need to get me through the day. I have friends who would take ages to put on make up. I really can't imagine putting all that stuff on my face. The less, the better. As long as I don't look like a big lump of oil with pale lips, I'm good. The irony of putting on a lot of make up is the more you put on, the more unnatural your face looks. I even see people wearing a foundation that is waaay too white for their face. They end up looking like a flour cake. Lol.

it is too much makeup when one uses foundation, eyeshadows, red lipstick, u know lot of layers when ure only going to a carwash or a local mini mart. Ive seen a girl once who uses a red shade over one eye lid and a blue over the other.. trust me it was the worst makeup do i have ever seen. It depends to what occassion to where we are going. To be honest i do use make up when i go out to uni or shopping.. but i go for natural look makeup.. which includes eyeliner, blusher, concealer... If im out clubbing.. id go for eyeshadows, mascara, blusher and glittery lip gloss cos usually its dark in the club..its ok too put on much makeup but just dont over do it. Ask someone elses' honest opinion if u think uve got a make up too much or too less..

hmmmmm when it is too much make-up? when you smile and your face cracks...LOL....when i first started wearing make-up, i used to slap it on and thought i was gorgeous, i didn't ealise that i was only to use a small bit of foundation, and rub it into my neck so it blends in, i looked like i had an orange mask on...LOL...i don't wear any make-uip these days because i don't really go anywhere, but if i am working i need to apply alot because i am on stage and the lighs shine my face if i don't apply it right, but that's the only time i wear it is when i am working....

make up without this no girls will come our almost 70% of boys too do make ups.but i never had any makeups except combing my hair till now

I use different amounts of makeup depending on the type of foundation I have. When I have a creamy powder like foundation there is no need for the extra layer of powder. My daily necessities for makeup are simple. I only use foundation and mascara regularly.

before i jsut contended having lipstick but now i have lipstick and i have to color my eyes to emphasized the beauty in it

I seldom use make up,I only use make up when there is any special occasion or event. I like to use make up actually but most of the time,I am lazy especially when the time I need to remove my make up when I am extremely sleepy. I think light make up can make ones look nice and better but thick make up definitely brings the negative effect. Ladies should always consider when using make up whether it's really suits ourselves or not.

I don't wear any makeup. I was blessed with a nice complexion.Thankgod. If I feel like wearing makeup its usually mascara and lipgloss. I,like you, see a lot of caked on makeup in this world. I think it has a lot to do with lack of self esteem. When I was still in high school,I wore the caked on stuff but I haven't done that in years. It just looks so fake. I don't understand what they see when they look in the mirror.
