When Paying Bills Do You?

We pay our bills through regular mail. But my husband has made a few payments online when we would forget and get right up to the time we would be afraid they wouldn't make it through regular mail. He would usually have to call the company in order to make the payment since we aren't set up to make all our payments online. But it's nice to know you can when you are pressing for time.

I have little choice but to pay all of my bills online. Most of my bills are back in Australia and I live and work in Egypt so sending cheques or paying in person is just not possible. I have been doing this for years now and have never had an issue with security or anything like that. I find it extremely convenient. I also request most of my statements electronically as well. And if you are concerned about your PC breaking down you can always schedule bill payments in advance so they will be paid automatically without you even having to log-in on the day.

Ohh...We are paying online in almost all of our bills here! Like phone bill, utility etc! We find it easy because we can just transact in one day!

I pay mine about the same as you do yours.. Some I pay by check, some, I pay in person and some by phone.. I like to pay by phone if I am not being charged to make the payment.. I don't like for a company to tell me I owe them an outrageous sum of money and then tell me I have to pay them more just to make the payment over the phone.. We used to have a cell phone service that sent a paper bill and charged .55 extra a month just for sending a paper bill in the mail.. I got so mad at them one day and told them to send my bill by telepathy and I would send the payment by the same method.. I never got another paper bill.. I think that sometimes they go too far in making up phrases to steal your money.. But I always pay mine by whichever way is most advantageous to me..

My does all the bill payments and pay direct debit so its a lot easier then paying bills online. we just mke sure there is enough money in the bank.

I pay my bills in person, and one bill I pay online that is my internet bill, the bills I pay in person are my rent, Lights, water bill,

I always write checks for big bills but pay in cash for smaller ones and I pay them myself by going directly to their office or if I am not available I send my son or any or my relatives available for the job. I never send checks via mail.

I love to pay my bills online. I came to realize that it is probably safer to pay your bills online than to put it in your mailbox, or even if you take it to the post office. How many times have you been told they never received your payment, even if you have the returned check? In todays society, their is risk in every thing we do. People are desperate. They steal your mail hoping to find money or access to it. Kids love to go into peoples mailboxes. They don't realize it's a federal offense.
Online billpaying saves me so much time, money and gas. No more checks to write, stamps to buy. And you get a receipt that you print out and you're set. You can still receive a bill in the mail, or receive it online. As you can see, the advantages for me, out weigh the risk. And if your computer breaks down, you get it fixed. Or do it by mail until you can get it fixed. I wouldn't go back to snail mail if they paid me.

My hubby does a lot of online payment; those that we can't pay online, we'd mail out the cheques - it beats getting caught in traffic jams, queues and the hassles of parking space.

My dad still prefer to go to the post office to do his payments. The post offices over here are multi-payment centres for utility bills, insurance and taxes. He's very conventional, and wants to see the receipt for his money immediately. He doesn't have much faith in the postal system, even less in the internet.

i pay most of my bills online through internet banking... it is the most convenient and easiest thing to do for me... it also saves me lots of time as i am working full time... so far, i am very happy as the internet here is very reliable and i always managed to do it without any problem... take care and have a nice day...
