Results of my short story entry

Thank you. I hope to do better in the next one. There are some very good writers on the forum that enter the contest though! This time there were 18 entries. The next contest will have even more I'm sure because the cash prizes are higher than ever!

Thank you. I was surprised to even do as well as I did. It was fun writing the story. I'm trying to think up a good idea for the next one!

Do you have a blog about your cartoon? I've saw quite a few blogs where people do their cartoon/comic stories. Might be something you want to try if you aren't already.

I dearly want to do that, but am so busy I never have the time for it... I have a four-year old ready to test them on, just need to get pen to paper...

Thanks both, I keep promising to write stories, but it's not something you can just churn out - so no more promises, but thank you both for your encouragement. If I get around to it one day, I will certainly announce it in MyLot.

I do have an idea but am waiting on my critique of the last story before I start writing the new one.

Thanks for sending it to me, I am reading it now. I just got done reading one of Michy's short stories. Have you read hers yet? She uploading a couple of short stories to the forum. I read the first one and it was great! After I read yours, I am going to read her second one. If you haven't read hers yet, go to the general writing discussion where she uploaded them.:)

Yep, I read both of them. I liked her first one best, but both of them were good. She really knows what she's doing.

You are very sweet. I know I'm no where near as good as some of the others on the forum, but I think it was ok for a first story!

Not yet. Michy said she'd help us find somewhere else to try and sell it or enter another contest with the story. Gotta wait to see what comes of that first. If it's put up somewhere I'll be sure and let y'all know.

I write mostly articles also. That was my very first short story for the contest. It is fun though. You should give it a try!
