I have heard about that. How terrible. The rain season must be terrible. There is really not much other than flying in drinking water, food, and other supplies to the effected areas and trying to get people to dry land. They have to wait until the flooding stops and the water level goes back to normal. Then they have to figure out not only why it flooded and why it flooded that badly, but also how to redirect the water in order to avoid something like this in the future. The cooperation of Nepal may be needed to implement prevention measures. Any major flood prevention project will need money and time to build. The first may be a problem in India. They also need to prevent people from rebuilding in the flooded areas.

I am sorry to hear of the catastrophe that your land is experiencing. You must have had quite a bit of rain. We have been having a lot of rain here in Alabama in the United States but not of the magnitude that you are speaking of.
I hope that maybe your government could lend a hand. Sometimes people use sand bags to hold back the waters. I am not sure if it will help in your situation. I wish your country a lot of luck. My prayers are with you.
