61 mile yard sale

My sister and my son and I went to the 61 mile yard sale they have every Labor Day weekend around here. On highway 61 people set up yard sales this weekend. The event stretches for 61 miles. It was fun. We hit about 30 yard sales. We did not manage to do even close to half of the yard sales. They estimated around 300 yard sales this year. Do you like yard sales? Do you have events around where you live where lots of people have sales at the same time?

where do you live at? that wold be so much fun. i use to love to go to traders village when i was little. now though it is more stores then flea market type. not near as fun. its hard to find good yard sales anymore. people now run it like a business.

Hi friend, i never heard about this yards sale. In my place i think its not here. Ya i got so many information that are in worldwide through this mylot. Very informative. So could you tell me more about this yard sale. How it works. Can we buy all sorts..?

I love yard sales. We also have one of those long yard sales where I live. It is 50 miles and one of the start/end points is ten minutes from my house so I always try to go.
I also cannot get very far. Even when I am selective with what sales I stop at, I can never hit them all. It is neat to go to these types of sales though.

I love yard sales. I wish we had something like that close to me. I spend most of my weekend going to garage sales. I have gotten some really good deal.

I would have loved that. The Lions around here have a semi annual yard sale. We always tend to go later in the day though and the stuff appears to be pretty picked over. We have a nearby flea market which has a huge amount of outdoor and indoor vendors. The Lions also have a big sale like every other Saturday in Northern Virginia which has a large attendance.
