I'm not so concerned about the DNC in this one. It's pretty typical to try and keep your opponents at a distance and it's not unusual for a hotel to cater to big clients by keeping reporters away.

The thing that is truly disturbing is the way the police handled the situation. Forget all the politics involved, some serious complaints should be filed and disciplinary action taken. I never thought I'd see a police officer push a man into the street and then accuse him of blocking traffic. Most disturbing was when the officer was holding the man by his throat. I worked as a detention officer and went to the academy. There are no authorized holds that involve holding a man by the throat.

Vote Obama. Get the change you deserve. But Do not try to make The Obama or His Party look bad.

I was actually waiting for something to happen, there was a decent amount of people who things happened to, but the reporter getting shoved around by that police officer (side-walk is public property btw, so there's no reason for him to be arrested, and the hotel couldn't actually legally remove him)...was one of the top stories I saw.

Surprised that it happened? Not at all. Surprised that ABC said it wasn't gonna pursue what alot of us think is appropriate legal action? Nooo.
Surprised that its taken a whole weekend for this to circulate until it was talked about. I gotta admit, a bit, yeah.
