Why weed it out?

I don't really understand the friends thing much - and I wouldn't deny any friends requests. However, I have found a few of the people I accepted seem to post at least a dozen 'discussions' each day which are of no substance and are just asking about earnings, money, other money making sites, etc. Seeing as I have no interest in this, I just delete those discussions, and have actually turned off the notifications for some of those people because my email was becoming clogged with their discussions each day. I am sure they were posting just to make money - and when I did reply to them, they didn't ever bother acknowledging any of the replies.

It is entirely a personal choice. I remove people from my friends list if I have not seen any interaction from them one way or another for a long period of time. As far as refusing them. If they are the type of person who creates a lot of problems and uses offensive language towards others I would refuse them from my friends list. On the other hand I know people who have hundreds of friends and never refuse or delete a one. Like I said all a matter of person choice.

your question corners me. i don't see any necessity of weeding friends from mylot, and any reason to feel upset of being deleted from the list.
anyway, i never refuse a friend up till now.

I never understood this myself. I'm not into "weeding out" my friends list. I don't care if the people on my list are rarely active, no longer active, or don't respond to my discussions. I will not delete them!

Okay, so there is one way I would delete someone, and that is if they were causing problems for me. But other than that I don't see a reason to delete people from my friends list.
