Real happiness...

A friend of mine returned from the rich dinner unhappy. He explained, "If only you had seen the luxury they are living in! It makes me really miserable." I asked, "Is he really enjoying his life? Is he really happy?" Can you say, happiness is measured by the wealth you gained? What for you is true happiness?

True happiness comes from love and being love. Having a peace in your life. Even in the midst or lack of money or such things you can have joy. "because when you have your health you have just about everything"

Yes goldenapple, we can be truly happy when we are blessed with love and when we are capable to share love. Money is not everything. Money cannot buy happiness! We would not trade our happy moments over a thousand bucks. Happiness is earned when we are at peace with nature and people around us.

Hi ace. I think that wealth only gives you comfort but not happiness. I know some people that are rich but don't are happies. They have all they want but still without happiness. They have bad relationships, bad friendships and bad family relations. All persons have relations with them because the money they have. It is a sad thing and their money can't buy love or true friends. I am happy having the money I need to live without problems so I know that who is near to me is because of me only. Cheers and have a nice day.

Hi Teka44! I agree with you real happiness is not measured by the wealth we have. We are rich because of the true friends we have and nice family we have. It's nice to know that we are loved because of the kind of person that we are and not of the things we possess. Being this way, we can be truly happy.

real happiness only comes from the heart. you cannot consider yourself as a happy person when you can show your happiness but you cannot feel it with in you.

True happiness for me is really contentment, I know that somehow money is important thing to have but as the saying goes "you cannot simply buy happiness" By all means we can all have happiness starting to be contented and being free...
