 I had to go to the ER on Sunday for what they thought was an appendix attack! The had me hooked up to IV's and on morphine because of the pain. They did an ultrasound of the area and started to prep me for surgery and then the surgeon said that she wanted to do a cat scan to make sure. The cat scan showed that my appendix looked okay so they called of the surgery. This was a good thing but what on earth caused me so much pain? They seem to think I was starting an appendix or it has something to do with my Scleroderma. I was in the ER all day Sunday and my husband was in orbit! We have been having such a hard time this year and I just wish things would get back to normal, whatever that is. Thanks for listening to me just had to rant a little!!!

Well it's a common disease, but reallllly painful I have to recognize!
I supppose you took your courage between your hands then let the medics take care of it... Must have been scary!??
Tell me, I have never had that, but you have this sickness only once in your life.

They did give me some strong pain pills to take home but I think if it was an appendics I would be feeling it worse by now, or so I think? Thank you and take care! | |

It can get frustrating when someone is sick frequently and the ER is visited more than friends or church or whatever. My daughter used to end up going a lot and it was frustrating because of insurance not paying everything. Hope you are okay now.
