Where Are All the Little Brown Lambs?

The farmer down the narrow street, around the corner and up the hill, has given us a peek at his mama sheep' little lambs. They are all white. A few months back (or was that last year?) there were quite a few brown lambs. Oh oh, where did they go? I guess only white wool is acceptable. Do you know what they do with black and brown sheep? Sadness. Also the buffalo are gone. I am not buying meat in the local market for a while.

Ask the farmer.
Many sheep farmers and those who work with the fibers love the colored wool. It's more the quality of the fleece that they are interested in, though white wool has the advantage because it can be more easily dyed unnatural colors for different craft projects.
Times are tough all around. Maybe he sold the buffalo to make ends meet or maybe leased them out. I hear they are quite dangerous to have as well. Used to raise cattle here but never buffalo so that's only hear say of course but I wouldn't own them!

Well I know the sheep hearders would use a black lamb in the flock every 500 sheep soall they had to do was count the black one to know how many they had1
They are rare anyhow.
AS for buffalo alot o farmers or ranchers are raising them now ya just dont see them roaming the range like 100 years ago or more since they tryied to kill them all off no big buffalo hunts!

I would love to know. I bet the little brown lambs would be cute. I'd be tempted to keep them as pets. my mother recently found a little lamb in a ditch near her farm. It had wandered away from its mother at the farm next door, and decided to conk out in the ditch infront of Mom's place. Mom gave it some food and water, and then took it home. I would have been tempted to keep it as my baby. LOL
