I am sick to the back teeth of waiting in queues  | |  Nearly every time you go into a shop, for anything, you have to stand there, line astern, amidst blank faced zombies, and wait, and wait, and wait ... for the one-speed assistant to amble through their sorry situation.
And why is it, that the moron in front of you, when asked for payment, then (and only then) proceeds to unpack an entire bag in search of their illusive purse or wallet - only to produce a dam card which takes even more time to process.
The most infuriating aspect of this for me, is that it isn't the fault of the staff. Oh no ... it is the digraceful liberty taken by the accountants of these rancid companies by restricting staffing budgets. While you and I stand there like a prat - these companies are profiting on our time. Unnacceptable!
I simply vote with my feet - to hell with the scum!

Its amazing how happier you feel about these delays if you can do something to fill the time that is of interest or benefit to you. Maybe you need to start keeping a magazine article that you haven't yet had time to read in your pocket, or a small notebook and pencil so that you can make lists or notes on whatever your current project is when you next have a few minutes to fill whilst waiting in a queue?
