My 2 year old wont go potty

Even if she says no take her every 30 min when you are at home. The first time she uses it make a BIG deal about it. Clap, dance around, give her a treat, whatever you have to do to let her know this is thr right thing to do. Keep doing it for a few days and then you can start asking her does she have to go. She'll be so excited to go to get the treat she'll be trained in no time.

it takes time, so kids just don't like it. #2 is always the hardest to do, it'll just take some patience and time. you can ask her doctor, sometimes they know some tricks as well. for me, i just waited and eventually my boys made it on time to the potty for it. but it took a long time, a lot of dirty carpets and dirty underwear.

don't be to worried though, my nephew is 3 and he doesn't even use the potty yet, maybe once, but not too close to being complete.

She will eventually just be patient with her. or maybe you build a routine, like when she wakes up in the morning let her sit in the potty trainer, if nothing comes out, do it every morning and I am sure eventually her poo poo will follow. happy training!

My daughter wasn't fully potty trained until she was almost four. She would sometimes use the bathroom before then, but not always. She is fine now. I was worried at the time too because I knew a lot of other kids were going sooner, but our doctor simply just said that you should work with her, but she will go when she is ready to go. Honestly, it felt like she just woke up one morning and decided that she was ready.

The difference with us though is that she just started pre-k this week. Before that, she stayed home with me. So, we had the freedom to slowly work with her, build up encouragement and excitement, and let her move at her own pace.

From your post, I gathered that your child is in some type of school setting, like maybe a preschool. That does add extra pressure, but I suggest just sticking with praise and encouragement. Since she doesn't have a problem with #1, just offer her as much praise and encouragement possible. She may like it and want to hear it from the #2s
