Amazing Race Asia - Season 3

Their first obstacle was eating lots of insects like maggots etc. Then it was washing a car.

I think I wouldn't be able to do the first challenge which was as you said, eating maggots, aside from frogs and scorpions; because my digestive system is a bit sensitive with this.
I really thought the participants from my country wouldn't be able to make it in the first obstacle because the girl seems quite sensitive, too. Anyway, the channel will definitely do a lot of reruns of this show; just like what they did in Season 2. In fact, I was able to see the first rerun last night.

Yeah, I know just what you're talking about; because I really watched almost the entire first episode. Like you, I also watched Season 2 but unfortunately, I don't know anything about the first season of this race.
What I wasn't able to watch was the first place where they started. I believe that they did it somewhere in my country but I didn't get a glimpse of it.
Anyway, don't lose hope for your country and its participants as the race still got a long way to go.

Where atre you from mate? Yes... I am not losing hope for the only remaining Indian Team in the competition. I do sincerely hope that they finish high up in the standings if not win the race.

You love watching the American edition or the Asian edition? Last season of Asia was a bit of a let down and I really enjoyed the first Asian season way more.

Did you ever see the American episode where one or two teams started the one leg of the race before some of the teams had even finished the previous leg? Epic.

Anyways... the beauty queens are hot and I think they are hotter than the ones in the American edition.

I catch this show whenever it is on even if it is a repeat. I don't mind watching the show again. High adrenaline stuff. Some of the stuff they do looks pretty hard but once you are on the race... nothing can stop you.

I like it when the teams drive themselves. Makes it more interesting to see some getting lost and some arguing on where to go and some arguing on whos going to drive. Hilarious and awesome stuff!

I can't wait till next week and also... the American edition Season 13 Premier is next Sunday if I am not mistaken.

I have to watch the replay to see about those beauty queens. Yes, both versions are great and i do love it too when they are arguing and still continue with the race. But i sometimes pity them for the hardships that they go through i just can't imagine myself going through that. It breaks my heart when a team get eliminated, seeing the frustration on their faces, still wanting to go on but can't. It is really a great show.Thanks for the info of the American Premier.

Yes. Do watch the replay for the beatuy queens or just give them a google search and you will see them. Yeah... sometimes because of the race, they break up which is sad but I guess they were the ones who decided to join the race so it is their fault in a way even though we feel sad.

I myself could imagine myself arguing and fighting with my partner but not going through those hardships which theses contestants do.

Yes, you bet i will check them out. Maybe each team has talked about what they are to expect as the race progresses. But of course, everyone of us has his own limitations, so maybe that is why we see them lose their grips. I think if you can give it a try, but make sure to let me know when you are on whichever edition. It will be good to watch the show with someone you know on it...at least a friend on line. Yes, i love that part too, that is when they start to outsmart each other. It is so nice to see them have team work, strategies and understanding of each other's weaknesses. I also admire their ability to argue but not fight with each other and still go on working as a team.

You both have a great conversation going on in here. Anyway, I'm absolutely glad to discover that I'm not the only one in mylot community who watches these stuff. And just like you, I also watch American and Asian versions of this Amazing Race. But, with the American version, I only watch it if my schedule permits me to. I used to watch only the American version but since the second season of Amazing Race Asia, I would say that I'm looking forward to watching it; especially if and when there are participants from my country.
Regarding the beauty queens, I personally think they're great. They are so into the race, that I absolutely thought they wouldn't be able to hurdle the first leg.
I'm gonna keep on watching this season until this ends.

Yes. I cannot wait for the next episode. I think the Beatuy Queens are out to prove something and they won't just be beautiful people. They are tough competitiors and I epect them to go far in the race. As for the one and only Indian team left... well I hope they can gain some places and finish respectibaly well if not win the race.

Personally, I'm from the Philippines. But several months from now, I will be trying my luck to work in another Asian country for my own family because my employer is planning on ceasing operations until the end of this year or until the first quarter of next year.

I am from the Philippines too. Yes, it is so great that because of the Amazing Race, now i have two great friends who i think are way much younger but share the same interests with me. I have seen the beauty queens and i do agree they are hot.As of now, i do not have a favorite team, besides the Philippines. I just have to watch the next episode and see how each team performs. Yep. Even I totally have to see the next episode. I am from India as I have already mentioned before in this thread and so I hope to see my only remaining team move up the standings.

I do support them first well cause they are Indians... After that I would support the Beauty Queens and that all guys team from I forgot where.

I usually stick to one team by the second or third episode and normally I pick one who usually goes on to the final 3. I hope this time my choosing is right again.

I hope they fly abroad or take a long train journey somewhere. Thats always awesome to watch!
