THE END OF THE WORLD !!! Big Band Testing in Europe  

First of all, my apologies for the errors that I have found out - but you have done so many typos that I had to read it

twice. Its Big 'Bang' and not Big 'Band'.

Anyways, I agree about the money that's going on the experiment could have been used in a better way. But I disagree with the

fact that world will end. If it would have been that, nobody would have tried. The scientists who are working on that, are

excited for success of the experiment and have checked for the security of the world. Their safety reviews don't talk anything about the danger our earth has been exposed to. And why should that be... They definitely will not play with the world.

Apart from that, to develop, to progress and to GO PLACES, its necessary that you take risks. Only risks results in exciting discoveries. Nowadays, there's been a lot of talk about using Nuclear Energy, as its the most efficient. When a country uses this, there's always a risk of radioactive decay that would harm the natural environment, plus the nearby people with its radioactivity. Does that mean, that we should not at all use this wonderful resource of energy? Maximum of the world's energy problem would be solved just like it wasn't anything. But if you don't take the risk, how will you ever explore the most enthralling things to discover. There's one example for daily life too- the one who wants to go deep in to any field of subject for higher studies is defintely risking something of his life - the precious time. He may loose or he may win - that's always there. But does that mean he should stay back? If he would sit and study that subject for hours, and if its all fake, and in the end it turns out that he was wasting his time - would you really call them who studied that subject, a fool? It must be taken this way - they discovered one thing that was fake and now the world will not waste time behind that!

And above all, I can claim this sentence to my teacher - Ultimate end of the world is not possible. The total devastation is impossible - there are many reasons behind that. There's no need to worry about world ending. May be there would be some threats to nature - like frequent earthquakes/tsunamis/volcanic eruptions, but the world's not gonna end. Please do not think over such thing as total devastation and waste your time.

Scientists' job is to invent and discover and they will do their job definitely. The people who support science will defintely go for that. The job to look after people is of all the good-hearted people - not the brainy - because even if the brainy spend money on helping others - they would fall back to find something new that would add to our convenience.

You could defintely say this, if you say that money can be used for improving the conditions of poor people - that the money used for making computers and internet system must be used on poor people - but that would lay us back from a great thing - communication. Similarly, the experiment that they are doing may find us something so convenient for people - so helpful, that all might enjoy it - may be even you! So please be patient and calm down the rant!

I don't wish to let you down at all, but I don't agree to the points you made above. I hope I have not hurted your sentiments, but I think I have explained why I think so. And I hope, I have contributed to your discussion well, because it gave me pleasure in writing here. Thanks for the discussion.
