Stolen discussion?

What is the right thing to do if you noticed that somebody stole your idea on your discussion?
For example you made a topic and nobody responses. Then after a day or two same person created a topic that has more responses compared to your discussion. And you feel that the discussion starter stole the idea from you? Is it alright to report it to MyLot because according to MyLot, before you create a topic you should try to search first.
But it's okay, I think that person who stole the idea of my discussion is much better in putting tags, that's why his discussion is much more active compared to mine.

If you feel there is a violation you can report it.
If MyLot are of the same idea it will be deleted.
If I saw one of my discussions repeated this is what I would do.

It's okay with because maybe that person who initiated the discussion didn't search first before posting his discussion. I also think that I don't have the right to report the guy because I myself sometimes forgot to search the discussion I have in mind if it is already existing.

People don't take the time to search and read they just start new discussions of their own. I had someone a few days ago start the exact same discussion only ten minutes after I did. The title was almost the same as well. I guess they figure they can earn more that way but I think they re also just lazy.

I agree with you. Sometimes I don't search for a discussion when I create my own discussion because I get excited every time a new idea pops up. I guess we could not blame each other every time a similar discussion pops up because with a total of 143,688 members it is very common that the same discussion pops up always.

well I notice that sometimes and I mean a lot, I been making as far as I know a unique discussion but still as I'm encountering others tend to duplicate my discussion but I really don't want to argue with them but I'm much more valuing comments of my friends and making a fun discussion that my friends would benefit...
