Do you get cranky around that time of the month?

I was talking to some guy friends the other day and they made a very blunt statement. "all girls turn into b*tches during the time of the month" I thought that was pretty off actually, if anything, I probably get either nicer, or stay the same. Sure its not a fun time of the month but I usually dont get mood swings, just eat alot. What do you think? Is it inevitable that all girls turn into monsters for one week during the month, or are guys just being stereotypical and unfair?
