Wedding Party attendants  

My fiancee and I have uneven attendant numbers because we both wanted to make sure that the people we choose were our closest friends and family members.

I have four bridesmaids, and he has two groomsmen.

I would not have it any other way!

My friend was my bride's maid, my Father had died, so one of my brothers gave me away. My husband had a friend who was supposed to be best man, but he got snowed in, plane stuck on the runway, so his brother ended up being best man.

The girls in my wedding were my sister, my husband's two sisters (we're close), and 3 of my friends I've known for 10+ yrs. He needed one more person to make it even, so he picked one of his friends who he talks to every now & then.

As for the honorable roles, I say choose someone who means the most to you. My advice: Don't have in-laws in the wedding unless you want. Don't feel pressured to have them in your wedding party if you really would rather not
