some people find you pretty

I think I am pretty!! But beauty comes from the inside!! And I bet you are pretty too.

I am very self conscious about my looks, and I don't believe I am attractive, I soak up negativity like a sponge, so if someone says I am ugly then I will believe it, if someone says I am attractive then I will ignore it and refuse to believe it. I have been like this all my life so it's very hard to change, I guess it's to do with the fact that I was badly bullied and no one looks twice at me. I focus on all the bad things people say and quickly forget all the good things. I don't believe people when they say I am attractive.

If someone says that, I firstly feel really shy. I just feel weird! But from inside i start thinking " Am I that smart and handsome" lolz. But I like that complement. People say that I am similar to Cruise brother... TOM CRUISE.. Thats the best compliment that i often get from different people. BUT skywolfcel i think you should feel like that. If someone says that, you should be proud that you are good by looks.

well i usually say thank you. it doesnt matter if their telling the truth or not, LOL!

but i do appreciate their compliments.

its good that you say thank you for complimenting you,..
its a way of appreciating what they say, and it dont matter if its true or not..
what is important is you accept yourself as you are, and not changing it or something like having surgery,..

Hi! There is a saying that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder." If someone regards you as pretty, you should appreciate that. Don't think otherwise because that person who complimented you have seen you in a different light which you have not thought of. Happy myLotting!

Yes, I do, because I love me and believe I am beautiful. We all have some beauty within us. So, if you don't believe you're pretty it is because you lack self love, perhaps because you have not been praised or affirmed too much in your life so far and you don't really value yourself. But we are all special beings. We don't need other people to tell us.

If someone pays you a compliment, especially when you know they are not being superficial, accept it gracefully and BELIEVE it. If you don't believe it, no one else will either!! No one can value us any more than we value ourselves.

LOL @ i am trying to believe. Even my wife says that about me. Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I prefer inner beauty. Outer beauty, physical appearance might be a big plus but is nothing without interior beauty in life. Remember that psychical beauty deteriorates with age while inner beauty remains

I grew up thinking I was ugly. All my life I felt that way. But then I got married to the mosty wonderful man in the world. He makes me feel so good all the time I can't feel ugly any more. He don't just say that I am pretty he makes me FEEL that I am. I have been married for 10 years this year and I feel prettier every year.

for me, it depends... the way the person say it counts... but usually, i do... hehehe
even if i don't wanna believe them... i don't want to think that they are just fooling around... but it does help me build my confidence... it really does... coz i'm the type of person who doesn't feel good about myself... and to hear a person say that i am pretty is a good thing for me...
