special Occassion make up |
|
When your going to a special occassion wedding, prom, grad, dance, party, etc do you hire someone to do your make up professionally or do you do it yourself?
I hire only because I don't know how to really put make up on comfortably and feel good about it.

1. happythoughts (2128) | 1 year ago | I always do it myself. I am afraid that the person I pay to do it will not have the same ideas to what I should look like as I might. I dont want to go to someones wedding in bright blue mascara and eyeshadow. It just wouldnt look right on me.

6. thanujad (360) | 1 year ago | I always do it myself. When you hire someone you will not know whether that person will do a good job or not. It's better if you can do it yourself. I'll tell you the basics of applying make-up.
1. Wash face thoroughly. 2. Dot on concealer and rub in. 3. Cover face completely with a base that matches your complextion. 4. Apply blush from the ear down toward the center of the cheek. 5. Apply eye shadow, light to dark. 6. Blend eye liner into the lashes. 7. Mascara goes on last, 2 coats. 8. Apply lipstick starting from the inside and moving out towards the edges.
