Do you love to see butterflies in your garden?

Actually I don't have a garden but I would love to have both:)
The garden and the butterfly

I've always want to have a nice garden one day! I like flowers a lot and I would be so happy to see some butterflies on my garden! I don't have a garden at the moment because we are living in a different country because of my husband work and we are staying in the apartment and I cannot have a garden. But hopefully once we are settled in our home country I will be able to have a nice garden.

I don't have a garden, but there is a park not too far from where I live that has all kinds of flowers and Butterfly Bushes with a gazebo. I like to go there early in the day and sit in the gazebo and watch the butterflies gather around the bushes. It's amazing how those special bushes attract them. I've always been a butterfly lover, even as a child.

We went for a picnic last weekend and there was a massive butterfly bush there,the buddhlia and wow it was smothered with butterflys,all different colours too,but there were lots of red admirals on it,everyone was taking alook at it as it was so pretty to watch,the only kinds of butterfly that ive seen in my garden have been the ordinary cabbage white,

I love butterflies. This year we concentrated on growing a vegetable garden but we are already planning to take part of our yard and turn it into a butterfly garden, just so we can watch the butterflies.

Butterflies do seem to bring me back to my childhood.

We are also adding a few feeders to attract hummingbirds as well. They are just too cool.

I do. There's something about butterflies that brings peace and joy to me. That's the kind of feeling that I do get when I see a cute, little baby, and when I hear the waves of the ocean at night, or just the touch of the wind on my face.

I too love butterflies in my garden and elsewhere. They are the news carrier from Almighty. They go every places freely and pick up good news and come back. From the time I went into the labour room to the time I actually gave birth (9 hours) two beautiful butterflies just stayed together within the room on the wall and on the window, then then disappeared. My mother passed away last year at the age of 95. Now my mother loved butterflies. Whenever her birthday came we all gave her butterflies. I live near the state park, and frequently walk my dog there. It was March in New England, and there were no flowers out yet, but my dog, Allie, and I went for a walk. Sometimes when I walk I pray, and I was on this day. I saw the black and yellow butterfly land on a rock nearby. I watched this butterfly for a moment, thinking of my mother. I walked toward it, and it flew away, way up into the trees, almost out of sight. Then it turned around, and flew all the way down to me, and landed on my shoulder. Boy was I surprised! Then it flew away. A few days later, walking in the woods, I saw the butterfly again, and it did the same thing, flew up into the sky, and then flew back again and landed on my head! I couldn't help but wonder if this was a sign or what, but on the third trip to the woods, I saw the butterfly again! It was sort of tattered, but it flew up and then flew down and landed on my chest. I am not sure what to make of this. Any input is appreciated. Marco Bustamante, Thessaloniki, GREECE We have a pool and today, my sister was out on the balcony, and she said she saw a frog in the pool. We went to check it out, and there right on the edge, just barely clinging on to life, was one of the most beautiful butterflies I've ever seen. I took it out of the water and brought it to my house. I kept it on my finger so that its wings could dry out, and then, when I was least expecting it, it flew off and back into the wild. Now I am inspired and will learn all I can about butterflies.

I love seeing butterflies... but sad to say i rarely see them now... since i do not have a garden... but when i do see one from time to time... i feel very happy because i think butterflies are a symbol of hope for the environment... i remember working in a place where thousand of white butterflies would flutter around... it was a sight to behold...

I have bees but less butterflies. Once they use my crotons to lat their eggs and eat all the leaves when they become caterpillars. My kids even saw how they come out of their pupa and became butterflies. Now, there are less and less butterflies in my garden.

Yes, butterfly watching is one of my imporant hobbies! In our garden these are mostly available in the morning hours! Butterfly... Flutterby, here there and nearby! Thanks for this nice response!
