If you don't allow debate, then you are surely making this a 'Poll Type Discussion' (see the Guidelines)!
There is a single, intelligent Creator who created and continues to create and maintain every thing that is. He/she appears to take an interest in humanity and can communicate with us. Those are my views.

I agree that endless debate about religious beliefs has little meaning. I usually avoid religious discussions for that reason.
There is a difference between religion and spirituality. Spirituality is the awareness of something beyond the physical, normally with an acknowledgement that it is to be valued and revered. It is essentially a personal experience. Religion is an organised system created by humans to describe and promote the existence of a God or gods and, usually, to seek to educate its adherents in the supposed laws and rules that the god(s) have made.
I am not a big advocate of 'religion'. Though it can lead to spirituality, most religions tend to become restrictive, dogmatic and a tool for social and political coercement.

to tell you frankly that is a reality of todays very image of religion..by history and by experience many fall victim of the negative and black side of religion..
