|  i am planing to buy a digital camera. i can spend some where around $200. which one looks gud. i had look on some models of canon,jvc,kodak,sony. i felt canon was looking better and cheap. which one of them has the better picture quality... ur help is much appreciated.....

| |  Canon is my favorite! I have two Canon SLR cameras and a point and shoot. The pictures are awesome. My son is studying digital photography and has all Canon equipment. They are a very reliable camera.

| |  I think you should choose between a Canon and a Sony. I have an older Sony point and shoot and it is still pretty good. My friend has a Canon point and shoot that's almost as good as some SLR's out there today. Both of them have good picture quality and have good designs.

| |  well i am always a fan of sony because of the quality that they give me. i have a lot of products of sony and its a fact that i have never face a problem with any of their product. the best thing about them is that although you pay a bit more than other you get the value of the same. like TV, many of my friends got local brand and other brand tv and that got problematic preety quickly but not the same with my sony wega and that is one small example. so i m happy with it. and would prefer their product. i have a handycam of sony but no digital camera.
