Would you repair your three year old digital camera?

three years old digital camera is really old looking the improvements of electronic every year, 60€ seems to be too much, every week if you look at the malls there are a lot of offers around 99€ of 8mp digital cameras that aren't so bad...just take a look.

i have a casio exilim exz-77...is really good amateur camera...nothing of professional but really good pics and vids!

its your you like it and if you want to repair it then you do that i have a old digital camera very little wrong with it iam going have mine fixed because i like it now you do what make you feel betterand its not that much to fix it so go fo it.have a bless day.

What is the price to replace verses repair. If it isn't to big of a price gap and you are able you could go ahead and get a new one. Technology has changed so much in three years that the replacement may have new features that you would enjoy utilizing. Then if you wanted to you could get the new lens for the old camera and bless someone who would like a digital camera but just hasn't had it in their budget to purchase one themselves. Be Blessed!

I have a digital camera but no need to repair. Though i bought it 4 years ago. But i changed the lens. I Suggest u not to repair the old one u can buy a new one. New one contains more feature than ur old one.

i dont know how many megapixels it is but it being 3 years old its probably so low that you really should just get a new one and update it.. i know the typical mp now is like 7-8.. i wouldnt go any lower than 8 but if you really shop around online you can get a really good deal.. i know its gonna cost more but in the long run it will be worth it since you wont want to replace or feel like you need to update it in a year or two.. would suck to pay that then turn around and spent a ton more for a new one ya know??

if it is fixible why not?but if you think its not worth it buy a new one lots o sale this time coz soon there will be a new one.

If the camera was sentimental value or it it was a very valuable camera then I would probably pay the €60. Also if it works out cheaper to have it fixed rather than pay more for one of the same quality then I wouldn't buy another one. I don't think you could buy a good digital camera for €60 so it might be in your best interest to have this one fixed.

If it were me and the lens was only going to cost me that much I would probably just buy the lens and fix the digital camera I have because a new camera can be rather expensive to say the least,and with the way prices are going up on everything it is better to save money whenever you can,so my advice would be buy the lens,and probably save yourself some money which is better in my opinion,but the choice is yours and yours alone.

But if you think it still can fulfill its duty well and can go head to head with the other competitions might try fixing the lens. As I am looking at the Fuji A350, it seems a little bulky and really lack of depth when it comes to features. If you have some extra bucks might try to find a new one.
So if you will choose a brand new digital camera. Here are the brand to chose from Canon which is always ahead in this kind of technology, second Sony which is a bit pricy then there are Kodak and Olympus which is lower in price and in quality than the first that I mentioned. Here are some list of nice digital cameras that you can look in the net. Canon Powershot SD750 which cost around $170-$180 has 7 megapixels with 4 times zoom and excellent high-ISO photo quality. If you want a cheaper canon camera try Canon Powershot A470, which is $110- $130 it also has 7 megapixel a 3.4 zoom magnification. One downside is that its speeds are not as fast and not your best choice in capturing action shots. If you prefer Sony try looking at this model Sony Cybershot DSC-W120 it cost around $160-$190.
So all in all I think you should browse the net first before making any decisions. There's a lot of new gadget out there if you do have the money to spend on it. Anyways there is no harm in browsing.
