Here are some ideas. Not consistent income, but it may be something that works. I have a friend who is out of work because the business owner retired. He has gotten an emergency substitute certificate. He is going to do that. I also work as an independent contractor, finding jobs online as a merchandiser, and also mystery shopper, and I have done product demonstrations. I can give you websites if he might be interested in them.

Sounds good to me, specially the drinking part, hehe. Last year my friend and I sat on her porch, we had a bottle of rum sitting next to us, a fan in front of us and a kareoke machine. We started out sort of quiet and shy, after a few, we got brave, louder and I think sounding better, hehe. At least the dog didn't howl, he just kept looking at us funny. She lives way out in the country so we didn't have to worry about someone hearing us. We had so much fun that day.
As for the kids leaving, it was time. I am so happy to have my house and life back. Now I just have to figure out my life. I will, I like to think positive. They live across the street from me, so its not like I am alone alone. My grandson likes coming over, this is the only home he has ever known, he is 3 1/2 yrs. He is such a sweety, I asked him if he liked his new house, he said yes, but he liked mine better. Thats my boy, he called me up on the phone the other night and wanted to know if he could spend the night, of course I said yes.
