how many best friends do you have?..

Not counting my husband, I have 2 best friends. Cathy, my girl best friend, I have been friends with for 6 years, I think. She was my maid of honor in my wedding. She knows all my darkest secrets. My male best friend is a friend from high school. He's like my soul mate. We're both Geminis and we know each other pretty well. It's like we can finish each other's sentences and we can read each other's minds. It's creepy sometimes. I could be thin king about him one day and then he'll call me on that same day. He's not yet married but I am. He's still looking for a girl who wouldn't be jealous of me.:-) My guy bestfriend is the godfather of my daughter.

I don't have many best friends. I don't trust friendship that is why. I used to have best friends ended up they back stabbed me, and I don't feel like I am going to have any bestfriend anymore. But it is developing, I started to gain trust to some people, some special people but I became picky in gaining some closeness to people because I don't want to end up like before. I should be more careful before considering someone as my bestfriend.

i am not counting them all for me once a person is trusted too well and i treat that person like family thats gonna be bestfriends cause i may know alot of people
but i only mentain a few close friends and they are all bestfriends to me, i may have alot of people saying hi and all that but i can only have a few who remains real.

First of all, we have to make good friends with ourselevs. Only when we succeed in making good friends with ourselves, can we have other good friends.
It is difficult to have good friends nowadays because nobody has done any self-relaization. Nobody understands who and what he is, nobody is his own friend.

I have 2 best friends. One is a man, the other a woman.

My best man friend lives in the same city as me. We talk almost everyday, either on the phone or msn. If time allows, we hang out once a week and watch some tv... or maybe spend a few hours doing something with our kids on a weekend (but that's not happened in a few months:( ). I can talk to him about anything and everything, and trust him wholly and completely. I turn to him for parenting advice, to vent about everyday issues, and to get a good laugh.

My best girl friend lives about 3 1/2 hrs drive away from me. We have been friends for over 30 yrs now, and talk almost every day on the phone. We know each other inside and out, and feel no qualms about telling each other like it is. No holding back between us... constructive criticism is common, and is always with mutual respect. We discuss parenting issues, dating issues, our love lives, etc. It's a shame we don't live closer to each other, but now that our kids are getting older, it will be easier to get together for weekends every few months.
