favorite runescape weapon

cool, i don't really like the rune battle axe. i don't really like it because it's not really accurate when i use it.

I use skimmy sometimes too.

For a non-member, without a doubt, it would have to be the rune scimmy. But as a member, it's definetely got to be the abbysal whip. I'm rather annoyed by the fact that these whips used cost around 8M, whereas now they are about 1.4M. Still, it's a great weapon along with the DBaxe spec.

Same thing happened with it as everything else. It got more common & new weapons were introduced so it's price droped. The only thing you can expect to consistantly increase in value are the old tradable holiday drops. As more players join & old players who have the items quit & take them with them those holiday items get more & more rare & thus expensive. Discontinued items are usually the priciest items in the game.

I agree with Snoopielyn, slow strong hitting weapons are not nearly as good as the fast ones. I never like the 2h swords, because you sacrifice a shield, and it's incredibly slow. You may be dishing out some high damage, but at the end of the day, 2 abbysal whip attacks= 1 rune 2h attack.

i thought that the abysill whip had a 2h power and scimmmy speed.

The abyssal whip won't give you massive hits, however, it will hit often and with decent power. I have to say I definitely miss my whip since going free to play.

Just out of curiousity, did you sell your whip? I don't think I'd ever sell mine even if I'd went back to F2P. The price I bought it was much more than it is now. So, if I was to sell it now, I would be making a pretty hefty loss.

Yes, I did sell my whip along with almost every members item I had that could be bought again. If I remember right, I paid 4.6 million for my whip when I first bought it. So, yes, I took a loss on it. But when I decide to go members again, it will likely cost even less than I sold it for to replace it again.
