LOL! That made me laugh, so the old queen ain't amused is she? Well tell her to go get herself a proper job, there's a vacancy in Macdonalds, she could do that! Sorry but I am not very patriotic at all, the only member of the Royal family died in mysterious circumstances and I have no time for the royal family they are a burden on the taxpayer and something we don't need on top of the economic slump! She does choose her moments. Well tough, everyone else has to struggle so what makes her any different, maybe she should live like one of our pensioners, bills coming in all time, scared of putting the heating on, living in fear of getting attacked, burglared or worst. She takes things too much for granted, right Wolfie has ranted enough sorry so as to her raise well I'm too polite to suggest what she should do with her request for a raise!

Hmmmmmmmm ... seems to me like she is getting a lot already.
And with the whole world the way it is right now I would have to say
No to her sorry!!

Oh, that is so interesting! I hadn't heard the Queen wanted a raise. Does anyone know how much she currently makes? Where does the money come from? I am clueless about this but it is quite fascinating! I did tour Buckingham Palace the first year they opened it to the public as we happen to be on vacation in London that year. It was fabulous! It sure looked good to me. But of course, we all want to upgrade, don't we? Please, fill me in on all the details about her finances. I'd love to know.

You may find what the Queen is asking for is money for the upkeep for the castles and houses, Yes she uses them but they are England's.

These belong to the people of England, There has not been a raise in these funds for many years (I think about 16 years).

Yes the Queen has her own money, but I do not think its her place to up keep the castles, houses and land, that is the peoples of England,

To this many people and groups use the houses and castles in fund raising.

She (Queen) is rich enough to buy her own food but as for what belongs to England then the people of England should pay for it in their Taxes.

i really don't know what to say, the uk will decide if she needs a raise or not, most elected officials are paid a heck of a lot, so I don't know, I know she is not elected though.
