Do you like your manager at work? Do you look forward to going to work or feel it is a drudgery you need to go through to survive? What specifically do you like or dislike about your manager? Cheers! Ram

actually he is my problem now!!!and my very big problem! He is courting me and even proposed me indecently, he has family of his own and kids, his eldest is older than me, and my manager is too old to be my father, but i cant resign from work cause its really hard to find something else at this time, so what i do is i always ignore him and never stay in a place without someone.

I think you are in a dangerous position. Maybe it is worthwhile to look up another job in parallel and once you get it, give your manager a piece of your mind and then leave. All the best... Cheers! Ram

The other option might be shifting departments within your own company if that is possible. That way you get to stay in the same company and under different manager. Cheers! Ram

My previous manager was the worst! He looks innocent and calm but when he assigns a task to me, it's like total demoralization! Something a regular guy like me cannot accomplish well. I was underpaid anyways, so i quit.

I agree. Maybe they should come up with something that will improve managerial skills.

Hmmm....our project manager is okay. She always gives chance to us employees...but if we get into her nerves..hehe..that's a different story. Personally, she has done me a big favor once, I owe her one...

Well, I work for myself as a freelance writer, so I don't have a manager at work! And I get along with myself just fine :) Kelly

Ah! then you have the worst manager possible... yourself :) When I get to handle myself which is quite often as my manager generally leaves stuff to me, I tend to be very hard on myself... :) When my manager actually handles me, I end up doing less and getting more appreciated :) Cheers! Ram

I like the disclaimer "Till now". Let's hope this continues for a long time. Cheers! Ram
