Herbalife...  

I was introduced to herbalife two years ago through a couple from UK who flew to Malaysia just to start herbalife here. I joined membership, bought products and consumed the products. The early stages were encouraging but I did not manage to reach the supervisory level. My initial enthusiasm just fade away and eventually died a natural death. I don't deny that herbalife products are good but I don't have the patience to promote or rather do a lot of the talking to customers. It is a lot of hard work before you can see the figures. I am just not into MLM in the first instance.

Hi Zandi, Of yes it is a lot of hard work initally building up a good team of distributors I agree but the opportunity is there but probably was more so years ago when I joined. People are also wary of MLM as they confuse with pyramid which isn't the case as one of my downline in fact was more succesfull than I was due to more international business and royalties. Ellie :D

Ellie, thanks for your answer! wow that seems like you had a great career with them..too bad you didnt manage to continue. in the end im still considering whether to start or not at the moment...im not very good with selling and it seems like i dont have the right circle of people around lol my friend is an Yves Rocher direct seller and we still have got no contacts even if we have a site and are doing publicity about that...me and business are not meant lol

I have found talking from the heart about something you believe in is much better than any sales pitch. Everything happens for a reason and I have no regrets about no renewing my distributorship at that time, but it was exciting at the time and right for me then. Go with what your heart is telling you is my only advice. Ellie :D

lol same here...i would nto know really where to start from...even my friend who applied to be Yves Rocher direct seller and who has a way broader circle of acquaintances than i do cannot do much with that...and im such a bad seller...if i were to have even one small doubt about something i would go and tell people about it LOL im not sure honesty is the best way to start in this field LOL i really think in the end i wont do it ...

LMAO! unless they start telling me things like No sorry, im not going to buy stuff from a 3 years old (cos thats how my voice sounds on the phone) there is not risk for that... im more likely to go very shy and uncertain and like Err mmh well miss...actually i think that drinking a huge shake instead of eating a real meal is like...not appropriate...actually im not even convinced its good for your health..you know what i will do some research and let you know

I am exactly that way too... I would be like "Well, vitamins are fine, but really you don't need to take all of these, in fact why don't you try getting more whole foods so that you don't need to take extra vitamins at all?" Hehehe.

But still, you would not be doing all your selling on the phone! You would be seeing lots of people in person and I definitely would pity the poor unsuspecting soul who made an innocent remark like "I feel so gay today!" Because for sure you would get red in the face and scream at them "Are you calling me a dike?!?!?!" Hahahaha.... don't even try to deny it!!

i got mad once at the guy who was renting me the room till a few months ago cos he wanted to sue the house-owner for calling me and my friend lesbians LOL he didnt really know about my friend being too but he knew for me so i was like Why the hell would you sue her for calling me what i am????? lol someone is a bit too caught up in the whole glbt cause :p
