What you do?

sports are the games that are to be taken into account light otherwise we cannot digest the defeat of the lost matches and also we cannot feel good so the thing to be kept in mind is it is a sport or a game so we have to take the rewsult sportively

For me the team would come first - I'd probably follow the player with interest though (unless they signed for a hated rival of course;))

In sport, I support teams. No matter who plays for the team at a certain point, I will appreciate the player helping my team, according to his performance.
Of course that players may move from a team to another. If a player that has contributed to my team's progress moves on to another team, I will always appreciate his help to the team, and I wish him all the best, enjoying his success, if I hear about his performance. But, generally, I don't look on how a former player of my team is playing for another team.

it will be very painful to see your favorite players or top players in your team leaving to another team. but, for me team always comes first. for example, i am fan of arsenal. i am arsenal fan because i love arsenal and i like there way of play but not because of henry,fabregas..etc. when henrry, flamini, helb were leaving the club, i felt very bad and disappointed. but i still remember there services and efforts for the club. we fans cheer for the team we trust in, we cheer for the team we believe in but not for individual players. even though we might have personal likening towards them but team is our first priority. for me my team comes first then comes the players. we were,we are and we shall be cheering for our team rather than individual players.

If my favorite player changes teams, he's still my favorite player. I follow him or her like a stalker.

Makes sense, doesn't it? After all Jo, it's my favorite PLAYER I'm devoted to, not the TEAM that he is on.

I asked my son, he said it depended on demographics sometimes,

like he loves the montreal canadians hockey team, and will always love them,

he loves saku koirivu, and if he was transferred he would still love him,


now for basketball,

he loved michael jordan and when michael left he still loved the bulls,

then he loved scotty pippin but when he left the bulls were garbage, and he still loves michael and scotty.

I continue supporting my team as players, managers and owners come and go but the team stays the same.

I'm one of those rational footy fans who wish nothign but career threatening injuries to players who've left the team under bad circumstances but if it's a player leaving through age then I don't mind so much.

Teams comes first players comes second... after all the teams become champions or not, not the players:P

Hmm...I guess it would depend on why they left the team. If they left because their ego got too big or they wanted more money then they were worth then I say see yeah! Of course if one of the players I liked started to be that way I would no longer be a fan of them long before they left the team.

If they left because the management of the team would not pay what the player was worth or if they tried to mess around with their contract for no good reason then I would still be a fan of the player and if I had time I would watch a game or two of them with their new team.

Well, when one is a fan of a club it implies total loyalty to your team.when tierry henry left for baca, though henry was my best player it never made me to stop being a Gunner.
