6.6 Billion Dollars In Pork Spending In Failed Bail Out  |

 The failed bill can be read under my heading read the bill for yourself,if you read the actual bill there is 2,322 pet projects tucked inside the bill this adds 6.6 billion dollars of pork barrel spending that had nothing what so ever to do with bailing out the greedy of wall street or even main street Actually this 6.6 billion dollars is simply more of the fat cat's greed, billions of dollars in their pet projects to take back to their home states.
I know people are blaming the republicans because the current bill failed this morning, somebody forgot to mention the 2,322 pork projects has been a real hot issues for days on capitol hill.
I tend to look at it this way if the demarcates really wanted to take care of the American tax payers on main street then why have they add pork barrel spending at the tune of 6.6 billions in to this emergency bill.

Maybe this is what they are revising the pork barreling your talking about. I think personally it is an election scam to get Obama for presidency and our government has created this scare because they want a democrate in office.

Had 13 more democrat's voted yes this current bill would had pass,but 95 democrat's was against it,which caused the bill to fail.
I understand liberal democrats like Nancy Polois are saying this is George W. Bush's fault and the republicans even tho Bush encouraged this bill to pass,the fact remains the democrats are the majority of the house they did not need the republican's to get this 700 billion dollar bill to pass,they could had done it with 218 democrat votes,but 95 democrats voted against the bill,so how is it the republican's and George W. Bush's fault the bill did not pass when the democrat's are the house majority? | |

You don't know the different between the Spending Bill and the Bail-Out Bill! Here are a few "minor details" you seem to have overlooked:
The "Bail out bill" failed in the House of Representatives while the Spending Bill failed in the Senate.
Your hero, McCain, skipped the Senate vote BUT he said he'd vote for it despite the earmarks he's sooooo very much against.
I guess "somebody" forgot to mention that, too...

But the sad story is there is millions out here on main street that have no problem stealing from the hard working American tax payers,people that have managed their life's for 50-60 years the hard way working for a better life.
