how much do you love your mom??? |
|
do you often tell your mom how much you love her? do you always say i love you to her?
i feel bad coz i don't do that always... i always want to tell her those words but i'm just shy... maybe because i did not grow up telling her those things... i am just able to say i love you when she's away -- on a trip... or on special occasions...
what about you???

2. DonnaLawson (2800) | 1 year ago | Please tell your mom every day that you love her.. I lost my mom almost 2 years ago.. I grew up in a household where we did not say I love you very much, we did love each other but we didn't say it very much or almost never at all.. I was shy about it also until about 2 months before she died.. I thought about it and was almost afraid to show my feelings in front of others because of the way that we had grown up, but one day as I was getting ready to leave and go home, I did finally tell her, "I love you Mama" and it felt so good.. It took all of my nerve to say it but when I finally did, if was as if nothing could stop me then.. We knew she was dying and wouldn't be around much longer, so I told her every time I came in the door and every time I left to go home, I gave her a hug and told her over and over for the last two months of her life.. I am so glad that I did and so did a few of my other sisters, but not all of them did before she passed away.. We were raised by one of the best moms and she was good to us in everyway, we knew that she loved us, she showed it in every move she made, but she wasn't demonstrative, and so neither were we.. But I am so glad that I changed it before she passed away, it honestly felt so very good to be able to say these words to her..
Tell her, you may lose the chance to tell her and then you will wish that you had.. My son is also no longer speaking to me, he has a new wife and she is the problem but I would give almost anything to have him call and tell me that he loves me.. So, I honestly think that you should not let any opportunity pass to tell someone that you love them, It feels good to say it and it feels good to hear it.. Good luck to you and have a great day..

| 5. Jessamy (24) | 1 year ago | I talk to my mom at least every day, she lives about 50 miles away from me and it's hard not being able to see her, so when we get off the phone I tell her I love her. I think that it's important, cause it keeps that mother/daughter or mother/son relationship strong! When I am spending time with my mom I say it about 5 times. My mom is my hero and I don't know where I would be without her today! She is my best friend and I can tell her anything! She's an amazing women and I love to tell her that I love her! It makes me feel so good when I do, that I have someone who is there for me no matter what!
