home-made remedies | | do your children take or drink whatever home-made remedies you prepare for some signs and symptoms like the common colds or cough? or do you take home-made remedies before going to the doctors? If I have a sore throat, I usually make honey and lemon juice or orange syrup, really helps. My nephew likes it.

Of course, we don't tell our doctor. My mom is pretty knowledgeable about home-made remedies, and to be honest, sometimes they work better than prescribed medicines.
